2.1 We collect the personal data you provide directly when you make use of our services, for example when you contact us for information about our products, request a quote, order a piece of diving equipment (Salamander rebreather), or get in touch with an instructor to take a course or obtain a certification. The data collected in these cases includes in particular your name(s) and surname(s) or company name, your e-mail address, your postal address, your phone number or organization, as well as your diving certification level and certification number. We do not collect any health data or medical information about you.
2.2 We also automatically collect certain personal data when you browse our site. This includes in particular data relating to your behaviour on our site, such as the pages viewed, the time and frequency of visits, browsing preferences, your IP address, the name of your internet service provider, the country from which you access our site, or the address of the site from which you were redirected to our site. This data is collected by means of cookies. You will find information on the use of cookies in point 4 below.
3.1 We primarily use the personal data collected to respond to your requests for information or quotes, to supply the products you have ordered from us, or to put you in touch with one of our instructors for a course or certification. Your name(s) and surname(s), company name and/or certification number are used to verify your diving level and your ability to use our products. Your phone number is used to communicate with you. Your e-mail address and postal address are used to correspond with you and to deliver the products you have ordered.
3.2 Personal data automatically collected by the site is used internally, with a view to improving our services and serving you better. It may, where applicable, be disclosed to certain service providers who assist us in delivering our services.
3.3 In accordance with the GDPR, to the extent it applies where you reside in the European Union, the processing of your personal data is based, depending on the case, on the performance of the order or contract you have entered into with us, on our legitimate interest in improving our services, on your consent (in particular for certain cookies), or on compliance with a legal obligation.
4.1 Our site uses cookies. These files allow us to obtain certain information about its use, such as the pages viewed, users' browsing preferences, their IP addresses, or the countries from which the site is accessed. These files are stored on your device but do not give us access to its contents and do not allow us to collect any personal data other than that described above.
4.2 Cookies provide us with general information, from which we can obtain statistics on the use of our site. However, it is not possible for us to link specific data to a particular user. Your data is therefore not recorded in this context, and the data collected through cookies is anonymous.
5.1 We use the Google Analytics system on our site. Google Analytics is a tracking tool used to analyse certain data relating to the use and traffic of our site. 5.2 The data collected using Google Analytics is anonymous and does not allow us to identify you personally. The use of this tool is intended solely to provide detailed information on traffic to our site, in order to improve its design and operation where appropriate.
5.3 Google Analytics is a system provided by Google Inc. in the United States. Data collected by the system may therefore be sent to and stored on Google's servers in the United States or in Europe. This transfer benefits from the safeguards provided under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, for residents of the European Union, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which are intended to ensure an adequate level of protection for the data transferred.
5.4 You can disable the use of Google Analytics on our site by installing a browser plug-in on your device.
The IP (Internet Protocol) address of your device allows us to know certain details relating to your connection, in particular the location from which you are connecting (country, region, city).
7.1 The data collected is confidential and we store it securely on a server hosted by our provider. Our employees, representatives and agents may have access to it.
7.2 We may disclose your personal data to third parties in the cases provided for in our general terms and conditions of sale, which are freely accessible on our site. This includes in particular cases where the disclosure of data is necessary to provide the services you have requested from us, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect our rights.

10.3 Requests that are unfeasible, disproportionate, or contrary to our obligations to retain documents for legal purposes may be refused, at our discretion.
11.1 This privacy policy forms an integral part of our general terms and conditions of sale, which apply in particular to the use of our site and are freely accessible on it.
11.2 When you provide us with personal data, you agree that it will be collected, processed and retained in accordance with the terms of our general terms and conditions of sale and this privacy policy.
11.3 You may at any time choose not to provide us with your personal data or withdraw your consent to its use.
